Hi guys,

Have any of you used http://itailor.com to purchase any shirts?

I like the look of it but the prices seem a bit too good which makes me a bit wary.

Any experiences?

Have a look here

They are very competitive and if you sign up for their offers they are very generous.
You have to be quick though, generally only 120 pieces made per model. The quality is excellent. The shirts, V1in my case, can be worn formally or with a pair of jeans etc.

Regards

No address or phone numbers for the company, a "Who Is" shows that the Domain was registered with a Proxy Domain company in the USA , but the the server they are using is in Japan, so i guess it's a Jap company....

might be ok, but with no contact details if something goes wrong and payment through paypal, i would be very wary... :?

I sae this recently too. I need another suit or two and like the price. From reading on money saving expert, mileage seems to vary. But to give a short or two a go I don't think would be to bad, so long af HMRC don't take a cut too. Even so it'd still be a cheap tailored suit

for £18 I would take the risk let me know if you order and you can get me one too lol, I expect the fabric will be crap though.I get a deal through work for TM lewin (pm me if you want the code) 5 shirts for £100 I think I paid. Decent quality but not bespoke.I was tempted to try this mob out http://www.d2k.co.uk/shirts they also do suits for £250

I'm intrigued by this; HWMOM's suit bought off the peg and only worn when absolutely required, has never looked quite right to me. Not that I take a lot of notice of such things, but I have a vague idea of what looks right and what doesn't. Problem is ever persuading HWMOM that this is something that he should spend time and money on.....most particularly time. I would be interested to hear any feed back on this company. I guess the main problem is lack of comeback if things go wrong. But then again, try getting in touch with Virgin Media when things go wrong, and see where that gets you.

I forgot about this thread, I have just ordered a shirt as a tester. Basic white shirt worked out to 26 quid inc delivery. I will let you know when it arrives. I am expecting it to be a month!

Well done Boab ............................ We've all been patiently waiting for a volunteer (well worth ten pressed men) to take one for the Team !

yes Johnny I thought there might be a few interested in this if it goes well. I read a few reviews on moneysavingexpert, needless to say there were mixed feelings towards them. For the price I decided to take the risk and try them out.

On a similar theme a catalogue from Brook Taverner arrived in the post yesterday. They are doing the 4 shirts for £100 offer and BOGOF on everything else.

I have found the shirts to be pretty much identical to the Charles Thywritt ones.

Shirt has arrived today. I haven't seen it yet but two weeks delivery seems decent to me. I will let you know how it looks later.

Well two weeks to deliver didn't seem bad and the quality is surprisingly good. The only issue is the sleeved being 2 inches too short :D
Bearing in mind I measured myself I am unsure if it was my mistake or not. I have asked for a confirmation of the sizes I requested so I can work out if I need to remeasure and order again. I would use them again once I get the measurements sorted.

Couple of pics of stitching and material:

Any reply yet Boab? And when you say the quality is good, do you mean the stitching or the material? The stitching looks good, Or both. Is it 100% cotton?
And if the short sleeves are your fault, please tell what is the right way to measure. I remember looking on their site, and it seemed to be fairly clearly explained. But having said that I haven't actually tried to do it.
Has anyone dared a suit yet?
