How to use Netflix on your Cox Contour cable box
Use this article to learn about Netflix features on your Cox Contour cable box, and how to set up and sign out of your account.
Netflix is available on most Cox Contour cable boxes. Netflix streaming features on supported devices include:
Navigation
On most devices, you can browse through rows of TV shows and movies, including a row dedicated to your My List selections. Each row represents a category such as comedies, dramas,
or TV shows that we show you based on what you’ve watched.
Resolution
Most devices can stream Netflix in high definition on fast internet connections and will play Netflix in their maximum supported resolution.
Parental controls
You can set parental controls on individual profiles.
Subtitles & alternate audio
Learn how to turn on subtitles, closed captions, and alternate audio (including 5.1 surround sound), which are available on many TV shows and movies. Many devices let you choose the appearance
of subtitles and captions. Some devices display subtitles and captions in their default appearance, or aren't set up to display subtitles.
Automatic Sign-In
Some cable boxes can automatically sign you in. If you pay for Netflix through the company providing your cable box, you'll be signed in to your Netflix account on any new, extra, or replacement
cable box that supports automatic sign-in.
To connect your Cox Contour cable box to your Netflix account, start from the Home screen and follow the steps below.

Press the Contour button on your remote.

Scroll to and select Apps.

Locate the Netflix app and press OK.

Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In.

If you are not yet a member, follow the sign-up prompts or set up your membership online.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account.
To sign out of the Netflix account on your device, follow these steps.
Exit and sign out of Netflix

Go to the Netflix Home screen.

On your remote, press the Back or Last button.

On the right, select Settings
. -
Select Sign out.

Select Yes to confirm.
Exit Netflix without signing out

Go to the Netflix Home screen.

On your remote, press the Back or Last button.

On the right, select Settings

Select Exit.

Select OK.
