The University of Toronto Sailing Club has been providing sailing opportunities for experienced and beginner sailors at Canada's largest university since 2003. We offer both competitive and recreational programs suited to your individual collegiate sailing desires.

Recreational Sailing

UofT Sailing Club offers great opportunities for beginner sailors. If you have never learned to sail before, we will teach you! Our recreational program offers weekend lessons to beginners, taught by experienced sailors. You can learn to sail in a fun and safe environment surrounded by like-minded people who are just out to have fun.

Competitive Sailing

If you are an experienced sailor and want to continue sailing past the youth level, we are one of Canada's premier post-secondary sailing clubs. The UofT Sailing Club is a member of the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA) and the Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association (CICSA). Members of the UofT Sailing Club Race Team practice three times a week at the National Yacht Club. The team travels to various schools in Ontario, Quebec and British Colombia for CICSA regattas as well as to schools in New York, New Jersey and other northern states for MAISA events.
