      Transaction dates are within the last 3 months, Honeyfund is a website guests can give electronic payments to the bride and groom .Thankfully only a few guests had used this honeyfund site otherwise all of the cash gifts would have been put towards something we did not opt for. 2 guests used the site. Totaling 250. Were opting for honeyfund to just deposit the cash gifts into our account so we may put towards something else. But honeyfund has put this money into a DELTA gift card for some reason. We will not fly delta and have already take. Out honey moon .

Honeyfund is the only gift registry with no fees that allows you to redeem your funds when you want them to Venmo, PayPal, or nearly 200 gift card brands. We never redeem funds on behalf of accounts, and our couples are always in control of what they redeem their funds on! I do see there's maybe been a bit of confusion as your funds were redeemed for a Delta gift card through your account and confirmed with 2FA to your personal device. However, I'm glad our team is working with you to attempt a refund on your behalf so you can choose a better option that works for you!       I am rejecting this response because: honey Fund claim that the customer is in control of what happens with the account and the funds that happened deposited into them. This is absolutely false. We have not been in control over the money that has been given to us for our wedding since day one. We did not agreed to transfer this money that was given to us for our wedding into a Delta gift card. Our initial email we had a response that said replies within 48 hours. This is also false it took 7 to 8 days for them to get back to us and after that it was a lot of ridiculous. Going back-and-forth with the **********  representatives. Finally, I was able to get the point across and get them to understand that we did not agree to a delta gift card. We wanted this gift back in cash. Now they are telling us that we need to wait for Delta to issue a refund which could take weeks I will highly recommend to anybody not to use ********** for this confusion that has happened with us and our ********** account. thankfully only two people had given us gifts through ********** so not much money is actually tied up but its still $250 that we can use right now and it is tied up. Thanks to ********** putting it into a Delta gift card which we did not agree on.

      Hello, I'm sorry for the continued confusion here. Unfortunately, this is not accurate information. The funds in your account were redeemed for a Delta Gift Card on 12/02/23 and was confirmed with a 2FA text sent to the phone number connected to your account. While you may not have personally redeemed for this card, is it possible someone in your home with access to your phone may have? I have also reviewed all of your correspondence with the Member Success team and I do see that all of your emails were answered within a matter of hours. Please check your spam folder to see if you may have missed some replies from us, as I do see that nothing went over 24 hours before being replied to, and most within an hour or two. I do understand that you are still waiting on Delta to respond to our refund request. I am going to reach out to you via email at this time and take over this case until resolved.

      We did not receive any "2fa text" confirming a delta gift card. We do not have delta in our area and also "all due respect" how far would $250 take two people when it comes to airfare. I also watch my spam folder religiously due to work correspondence just in case something slips through. I believe itll be in both parties best interests to refund the $250.00 in a form that we can use and honey fund can just keep the 250 expected back from Delta. Frankly this has gone on long enough. We regret involving "Honeyfund" and would like to put an end to this. If honeyfunds phone was working like it should be we could have resolved this issue already.

      My Fianc and I set this account up @ the end of May/ early June and began receiving gifts in late July, Our wedding was August 5, and now that our wedding is over we are trying to cash out our funds. The only option we now have is to redeem our cash gifts for gift cards. This is so disappointing and frustrating! We were looking to use the funds raised towards bills for our wedding, and the rest for our honeymoon. It is putting a strain on our infant marriage! I feel responsible as I am the one who set this account up.We never dreamed we would have any issues collecting our cash gifts. I sent a Venmo request for 1000$ 3days ago. I still have not received my funds. This is when I decided to ****** reviews. Now Im totally freaked out that it will take weeks to receive our money. We still have close to **** in our Honeyfund account and now that Im reading reviews I feel the site is a scam! 24/7 365day customer service without a number to get in touch? Please help! We need and want our funds asap. This is so unfair to do this to newlyweds. Especially after paying for an expensive wedding. Is this the only site to file an official complaint? We need next steps.I told my husband I wont rest until Ive retrieved all the money raised from our wedding in the form of cash funds. Hoping to hear back from someone

      I am using this site as a wedding registry/fund for my upcoming wedding. When i request to have my funds sent to paypal it takes 2 weeks to get it or not at all...there is no phone number and nobody never responded back to my 2 emails..they have stole over $300 in monetary gifts from me and wont give me my money!!!!!! Do not use this company!!!!!!!

      For complaint 20214899 - I'm truly not sure what this is about. She has received all her her money the exact way she requested it. We state there is a 2-3 day wait time which is all she has had, and all her funds have gotten to her on time. We have also responded to all three of her emails over the last month in less than 24 hours

      We chose to redeem our Honeyfund gifts via Venmo on 3/29/2023 and received an email that the funds would be transferred in **** business days. After 10 days and no funds transferred, we sent an email to customer support requesting an update. The email we received threatened that sending emails would postpone the transfer of our gifts even longer. We still have received neither any funds from our family/friends nor clear communication from an employee of Honeyfund regarding this issue. At this point, we are very worried the money of our friends and family has been stollen.

      I set up a Honeyfund account so that people could gift ** money for our honeymoon. A QR code was made and put on all my invitations for this Honeyfund. The first gift I received could only be redeemed as a gift card. There was no option to send it to my PayPal account. That is not what I wanted at all. I sent the company an email explaining that all I wanted was for my guests to be able to donate money to me that I could use for the honeymoon, not a bunch of gift cards that are useless to me. They sent me a cash out request form which I filled out and sent back in. It took them almost a week to finally cash out my gift to my PayPal account. They also explained in the email that their website is easy to use and all I have to is adjust my preferences so the gifts would be redeemable to my PayPal instead of coming in as a gift card. The next gift I received could only be redeemed as a gift card again as well. I sent them an email and a few days later they sent me the cash out request form again. I immediately filled that out and sent it in. That was at least 3 weeks ago. I have sent two follow up emails and called them and the money has still not been credited to my account and I am getting zero responses from the company anymore. Theyre essentially holding money someone gifted to me hostage. These are my complaints. 1. All they care about are the little business deals theyve made with other travel companies to advertise on their website and redeem gift cards through them 2. They refuse to give me the money someone is trying to gift to me 3. Their 24/7/365 customer service is an outright lie. 4. Their website is anything but user friendly and is extremely confusing. Im not the only one who says this. 5. They are very misleading in what they advertise. I would recommend this business to no one. They are horrible. It has been a nightmare and nothing but a headache. Realistically they should probably be sued in civil court.

      I created a honey fund for my honey moon and attached the link to my invitations. I know that some loved ones have already made donations. Then when I went to sign in to retrieve the funds, it said my account did not exist. And when I click on the link that went to the honey fund I made, it says the account cannot be found (**************************************************************). I emailed 2 days ago with no response and tried to call with no response. I never received an email or any correspondence about an issue with my account. They've taken my money and disappeared!

      On Jan 2nd, a donation from a family member sent us $200. I was able to transfer that to my PayPal no issues. Since our wedding Feb 19th, Ive had 5 other gifts given to us that equal $825. I contacted March 8th for our funds to be transferred to my PayPal. No one has reached out to me and it has been 6 days now. Nothing has transferred. I reached out by email about 4 different times now. Ive texted ***************** saying I would like to escalate to a manager and have had no reply. I also called ************** to leave a message for the customer support and still no answer. I feel like this isnt fair to us at all; as our honeymoon money is being held for literally no reason. As Ive already transferred one gift to PayPal. I can not get a response from anyone and its been 6 days. I would not recommend this service to any newlyweds because the customer support is awful and no one reaches back out to you. Im not sure what to do at this point. Its a nightmare dealing with Honeyfund. *************************** is the Bride name but I have officially changed my name to *********************.

      I used the Honeyfund registry for my wedding and it has been very difficult to retrieve the gifts that our family sent. The website is really buggy and opaque, and support is very slow to respond to queries and concerns. It has been more than six months and there is still no resolution. This is a really awful registry and honestly, I want to warn consumers against using the service.

Looking into your account I don't see any pending issue from the last six months, only one email about verifying your identity and us confirming that you were able to access your gifts.       I was under the impression that I could set up a honey moon fund and it would be simple. For starters the website is not user friendly and not easy to use. I then added my PayPal account and printed out QR codes and then emailed them with the invite. I find out a month later that the account cannot be funded after guests told me the credit card was declined. Honeyfund advertises 365 24/7 support (that's a lie it's been 24 hours I've called 3 times and asked 3 questions over 24 hours ago and they got back and answered 1 email and 1 question. They told me that I need a PayPal business account to get funded. This was never told to me when I set up the account of ever until peoples credit cards were declined. They then told me to lie to PayPal and say that I'm a business. PayPal will charge me to get my money and Honeyfund is already charging me and I DONT OWN A BUSINESS AND AN ENGAGED COUPLE IS NOT A BUSINESS. I spent over $100 lying to my guests with my invites and now I need to print new QR codes and I want Honeyfund to do 2 things:1. Stop lying about your 24/7 365 customer service it's obviously a lie, read the comments here I'm not the only one.2. Stop telling people to lie to PayPal and make a fake business and also disclose that there an additional fee to get paid through PayPal and we are being double charged.3. I'd love a credit for the money I lost but I doubt a company that's already this incompetent is capable of doing that.

      This person is lying and I do not want this lie put on my complaint. I have found another option who 1. Does not charge me a fee because they pass it on to the donor. 2. Does not make me lie and say I own a business. 3. Has a website that is easy to use. 4. They did not resolve anything and I deleted my account and will not be using Honeyfund and I need to make sure this lie that she told about me using this for my honeymoon is not on my complaint or posted online because it is not true.

      I'm sorry to hear you were not satisfied with our response. As stated in our emails with you, we do not process funds here at Honeyfund, rather, we use trusted third party payment processors such as PayPal and Stripe. You had selected the PayPal option and we sent you instructions for linking your PayPal account directly from PayPal. I understand you did not agree with those instructions, unfortunately they are not able to be altered. If you ever want try us out again, you are welcome to set up bank deposits using our partners at Stripe instead. 
      I do see now that since we spoke you have closed your account. I am glad you found something that works for you!

      We signed up for HoneyFund because it seemed like a good idea. I completed a test payment on 7/29/22 and still nothing in my checking account. Two family members have made a deposit and also not showing in my checking account. I'm about to send the invitations out but now I'm worried because I have my HoneyFund registry listed. Why is it taking so long? 2-5 business days was today! Ugh! I really want this to work for us!!!
