Trying to set up email on new XR phone, account will receive emails fine, but cannot send any emails.
What are proper bell aliant incoming and outgoing servers settings and port numbers

Looks like you need to chose for that email count, smtp settings,SSL off, but authentication will be your email account password (so just choose password from the four offered options). And set the smtp port to 2225.
what that means is they are not using an encrypted connection, but are using password authentication for you to send mail.

Thanks Michael, I am in Nova Scotia, and those are the seetings I have, when I select authenication, it gives me 4 choices, not sure which is correct choice.
