Now more than ever, first responders, healthcare professionals, and the essential workers keeping our world afloat need a pick-me-up. In an effort to make their lives brighter during this trying time, Hallmark Cards is encouraging everyone to express their thanks with an unprecedented card giveaway.

In March, Hallmark Cards launched a two million card giveaway with the intent to connect loved ones amid the coronavirus crisis. The initial giveaway was extremely successful, and all cards were claimed in just one week. "The response to our first 2 million card giveaway showed just how much care, hope and love people want to put into the world right now," says Lindsey Roy, CMO of Hallmark

But Hallmark Cards knows there is plenty more they can do: They're launching another two million card giveaway to offer thanks to those who make our lives safer, healthier, and happier. "We hope the next 2 million cards allow people to show the gratitude we know many are feeling right now – and to ensure those receiving those cards know just how much they are appreciated."

From now until supplies last, anyone in the U.S. can visit Hallmark’s "Care Enough" website to sign up for a free pack of three cards, which include cheery sayings like "Not All Heroes Wear Capes," "What You Do Matters," and "You Are So Amazing." There are no additional requirements: Simply type your name and address, and the cards will be shipped ASAP.

The rest is up to you: Write heartfelt messages to friends and family working on the frontlines, say "thanks" to teachers, grocery store associates, hospital workers, and the heroes in your life, or take this moment to teach your kids about how impactful small acts of kindness can be. Kids, in particular, will keep busy customizing Crayola's "Not All Heroes Wear Capes" card with markers, crayons, and colored pencils.

After temporarily closing a number of their operations facilities and some Hallmark Gold Crown stores nationwide, this card giveaway seemed like an obvious next step. Why? Because "lending a hand to help others connect is part of our DNA." To Hallmark (and so many around the world), a handwritten card is "a paper hug" — and really, that's just what everyone needs right about now. So, sign up now and spread the love.
