Beware trying to change anything on your booking

Got cheap flights to Alicante, unfortunately one of our party is not able to go holiday now so we tried to change the name, £150 charge. We then tried to move the baggage allowance to my booking, £150 charge!! I offered to cancel the spare booking but again £150 charge. Totally ridiculous for a simple admin task. Not cancelled the spare ticket so Ryanair have lost the opportunity to sell on. Total greed and so unhelpful when ringing their call centre, just rude!!!

Terrible customer support

Terrible customer support. I forgot my password on my account and I have been told to create a new account. No technical department to help. Useless on the phone and on the chat. On the chat I was getting the same standard message "anything else I can help you with?". I just said stop saying that as I dont want my chat closed and I was threatened to have my chat closed. If I had any other flight company options I would definately not chose Ryanair ever again.

Worse than Ever

There comes a limit when, like eating bad food or finding oneself in an abusive relationship, one decides enough is enough.

Ryanair made a fist of improving their appalling reputation for a few years but the bad version is back with a vengeance.

This morning we were told at check in not to check in the cabin bags we’d paid to check in only to be charged £150 at the gate because we’d not checked them in.

I’ve complained to Customer Services but been fobbed off by what appears to be a robot.

If it’s Ryanair or nothing from now on, then I’ll choose not flying.

No refund for airport parking after flights cancelled…

We booked flights and airport parking mid Jan 24. Ryanair cancelled the flights Mar 24 and offered to change or refund flights. We chose to rebook but have found there is no way to reschedule the airport parking. How can a company take your money for a service, then change their service and refuse to refund or reschedule part of the service they sold us? Apparently the parking is non refundable despite the fact we bought a service package - or at least thought we had

SCAM!

Rude personnel! Vague procedures! Long waiting queues! Delayed flights! ... and now the new feature is that they ask you for extra money payment during the check-in.

Cancelled flight Bergamo to Edinburgh

Cancelled flight Bergamo to Edinburgh . Brought flight forward 1 whole day ...if I had wanted to come home a day early I would have booked it .
Stressful when you have made lots of other arrangements . Now have to fly from Malpense with Easyjet .
Will never , ever use this USELESS airline again .

Avoid at all costs

Paid for seats, gave us random seats minutes before our flight causing confusion onboard. This has happened twice. Rude and abusive live chat staff tried to gaslight us that we had not purchased seats despite having a receipt for it. Complaints ticket was ignored and shut.

They cancelled my flights and ruined my holiday. I’m finding it difficult to get a refund probably because the flight numbers on my booking confirmation are different to the ones on their app. What more is there to say?

Delayed Flights from London Stansted to…

Delayed Flights from London Stansted to Warsaw Modlin and return as well. Priority boarding not worth pound. They just get passengers waiting outside the terminal both Airports. Avoid for all cost. Planes aren't cleaned properly,big amount of rubbish under chairs.

Do not fly this airline!!!

So first of all, I fly all over the world, and I have never EVER had to download an airline's app in order to check into my flight. Then the receptionist tells me that I must check in online in order to avoid a $55.00 fee (what the hell?). I asked her, "You can't just check me in right here right now for a flight that I paid for months ago?" Of course she responded, "No, this airline is different." So I couldn't check in on my phone, and they couldn't help me with that. I couldn't download the app, and ( again) they couldn't help me with that. Finally. I had had enough and just paid the ridiculous $55.00 fee just to get my damn bording pass and be able to check my heavy duffle bag. Then, and this was the icing on the cake, the receptionist flips the bag on the side with the pockets - I couldn't believe this - and I asked her nicely, "Could you flip the bag on the other side please, I have items in those pockets that you're crushing right now." And she responds with, "You can do it yourself." Are you serious? This is customer service? Never in my life! Ryanair will never again get business from me or anyone that I know.

Where are the dimensions for CHECKED baggage?

Observation before flight - Ryanair have a very poor reputation for tripping people up (and charging extra) due to misunderstandings with bags and check-in.

I would expect, therefore, that their baggage polices would be crystal-clear on the website. Not so: cabin baggage (under-seat and overhead locker) have maximum dimensions, but checked baggage (10kg/20kg) do not.

Fine, I'll speak to the 'Live Chat': "It should be the same as the cabin baggage for a 10kg checked bag". "...should be..." doesn't really cut it for a company of Ryanair's ill repute.

I ask for a URL to the official checked-in baggage policy. I was given the same page I'd seen before, only dimensions for cabin baggage shown.

May I speak to the supervisor? "No, that is impossible"

What are my other options? "You may make a complaint on this form". The form asks me what I want to query (Baggage Policy) and I'm sent back to the same page again.

How do I progress this query? "Speak to customer services on the phone".

Ok, I call customer services. "Your booking is more than 30 days away and we're helping people who are flying soon. Goodbye"

So, I have to throw my hat into the ring with all the other terrible reviews on this site - BEFORE I'VE EVEN FLOWN. Even when trying to ensure that I'm doing everything right ahead of time, I'm stymied by incompetence. It's like walking on eggshells around an abusive parent. Let's hope I don't do something to anger them...

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, pay extra to sit with child during flight as she has bad flying anxiety but they moved us 26 rows apart and couldn't do anything to fix, no refund offered for the extra we paid for a service not given. Pay more for better service as this airline is atrocious

Greedy and bad customer experience

I flew with Ryanair on from Dublin to Gatwick on Saturday. Well before check in closed I was on my phone looking to sort check in and also right before check in closed I tried. But I wasn't able to. At the boarding pass gate I was speaking to a woman who worked at boarding pass checks (asu officer) at Dublin Airport. I gave Ryanair her name and advised she would be able to verify she was speaking to me (there should also be cctv footage of this - was there 2 hours before flight). Because I then went to the ryanair desk to try to resolve this but wasn't able to. I was charged 55 euro for a boarding pass and even though I was at the airport long before check in closed and tried to check in before I ended up stressed about missing my flight due to the delays Tring to resolve this and then getting a paper boarding pass. This was a very frustrating and stressful experience I have to say. And Ryanairs lack of help rectifying this since just highlights the greed that underpins this airline.

Charged £92 for two small cases after…

Charged £92 for two small cases after being told bags were suitable at first desk.
Rude staff at check and despite being in airport 3 hours before flight, we were not informed by staff of the bag charge. This led to us having to miss zoo trip kids had been waiting on in Germany. Very poor service

Exceptional Compassion and Service

I’ve always considered Ryanair to be a great airline, and recent events have confirmed that belief in the most profound way possible. Following the unexpected passing of my brother-in-law, we found ourselves in a difficult situation, needing to cancel our flight plans. The process of requesting a refund online was not only seamless but surprisingly swift. Within a mere 20 minutes of submitting the request, we received confirmation of the refund.

This level of efficiency alone would be commendable, but what truly distinguishes Ryanair during a time of grief was the prompt action in refunding our expenses thus alleviating a significant burden during an already challenging period, I am immensely grateful.

Thank you, Ryanair for going above and beyond when it mattered most.
