How to Create a Personal Yelp Account

Have you scouted around the Yelp website and noticed you'd like to write reviews, just like the ones you see? After you create a personal account, you may write some reviews. This article will describe to you, how to create one of these personal Yelp.com accounts for you to use, so you may add reviews to the business you selected.

Steps

Visit the Yelp website in your web browser.
Click the "Import Facebook photo, if you want, or click the "Skip this step" link that can be found above (in the top-right of THIS box).
Importing other friends may be done at a later time. To find the Skip button, it's right next to the white (with red lettering)"Find your friends" button.
The email's address will say "Yelp" (or "no-reply@yelp.com). The subject of the email will read "Please confirm your email."

Every action you try to take on Yelp (messaging, creating a review, etc.) has an "out" feature, in case you intentionally do NOT want to send the message (before actually sending/publishing the message. To cancel creating your account, on the first screen, just click the back button on your browser, or press the backspace key on your keyboard (after clicking to the left of the boxes in the white space provided.)These combinations, will do the exact same thing.

There is also an easier sign-up process, if you sign-up via your Facebook account credentials.

Warnings

You can't sign-up for an account via the separate, official iPhone app. You can only do this via their PC-version of the website, or use the Safari app of your iPhone-smartphone.
