Look in your maternal-child nursing textbook under Ballard-Dubowitz assessment for gestational age.

0 degree square window is a finding on the "mature" end of the Ballard scale. The palm of the hand will flex against the arm (at the wrist) completely in a mature neonate. In a preemie, the angle increases with decreasing gestational age.

Looking at the Ballard scale will give you a much better idea.
