Login is the authentication name or email
Logon is the act of putting your login and password.

login is for softwares eg. Facebook, google,HiNative...etc

Login is a noun, but you have to pay attention because in english grammar you have the noun login and the verb log in. The noun means the letters that you put to connect to something, the verb means the action when you put your email/nick and your password, both log in and log on are verbs and mean the same.

Ex of the noun: Do not share your Facebook login with anyone.
Ex of the verb: If you are already a registered user, please log in.
Ok, you can see that the first example has the noun because it is about the email, the letters, the password..
And the second one is about the action, when you put your email and your password, you are logging in.
