Online intro Art class amidst COVID-19 quarantine. Prof. Nauer had good grasp of CANVAS. Remained in constant communication via email. Art content from CONNECT was amazing despite technical issues (not her fault). She was flexible and made adjustments (virtual tours for 2-page museum report). Homework and tests were easy. Weighted grade. Easy A.

Disorganized and unclear. It's very difficult to find what you're looking for on canvas as she has hundreds of files from previous years. Also, the assignments in the syllabus heavily contradict canvas and the program we use for assignments. I politely asked her about my confusion and she responded rudely, offering no clarity. Do not recommend.

Absolutely a horrible teacher. You have to use connect for homework assignments and exams. She spams the class as a whole with emails, and gets confused why you haven't read a specific email she sent you when you ask her a question. She is so hard to work with and will give you grades you do NOT deserve.

Took as ONLINE summer class, very clear and easy to UNDERSTAND. Professor had a great outline to follow and sends out plenty of reminders. Beware emails are the ONLY form of communication so be ready to receive lots of them! The museum report consist of visiting the Getty, 2 pg paper. Shes an awesome professor and I would definitely take again!

It was an absolute pleasure to take Professor Nauer's class. She provides an extremely detailed syllabus with structured learning resources such as PowerPoint Presentations, Study Slide Review Sheets, Chapter Outlines & consistent weekly reminders letting you know there was no grade yet reported for your assignments. She sets you up for success.

Does not know how to run an online class. Lots of issues with Connect and Canvas that she did not know how to resolve. Could not see an accurate grade the entire semester which was very frustrating. No Extra Credit! She does however respond quickly to emails which is great for online classes and at least tried to fix the problems that came up.

This course was done through connect and had a large amount of errors. The questions were worded poorly and in a confusing way. They were also highly subjective so if you didn't agree with the textbook's interpretation you would get answers wrong. I expected a teacher that would create her own assignments and lessons, not this. Very disappointed.

Extremely easy class. Uses connect as the textbook so it's interactive. One museum report at the end of the semester. I would highly recommend this class for easy credits.

This could be because it was her first online class, but it was incredibly unorganized. The material is strange, I am not an art major but I found it very tricky and subjective. I would not recommend this class and would suggest a different type of art to fulfill the requirement.

online book costed around $90 and its mandatory bc you do all your work on the modules. beware of emails, good and bad. Good bc she reminds u the work that needs to be done, Bad bc she emails way too much. i never read the book, you can find most of the answers on quizlet for the hw and exams. 1 museum report. ez A, just need to put in the effort.

this was my first online class. her instructions were straight forward. reading in textbook made power-points and slide shows. only had to do one paper. she always answered questions and I felt she was very lenient. still in the process of finishing class but i believe i will walk away with a low A or high B.

Honestly, it's an online class so you obviously are learning everything yourself. However, it should be an easy A because you just have to complete ALL of the assignments on time and it should be a breeze. The museum report is easy if you just really take it seriously when you are visiting a museum, you should have no problem getting an A.

I took this online class over the summer. My first class in 20 years I was super worried as I am a extremely busy single mom and I work 60 plus hours a week. If you do the lessons, tests and the 1 report you will do fine. She was very organized. Class was not hard the 1 museum report was easy . Just follow directions and you will do great!

The quizzes and exams online are easily found by googling the questions. There's a museum paper that you have to write, but she gave me a B even though I barely tried. She is constantly e-mailing (so annoying) and there is so much crap she uploads on the Canvas. There are easier online art teachers but if you have to take her it's fine.

If you want 35 emails a week take this prof. Sends so many emails it's confusing.

I took the class online so I never had too much interaction with Professor Nauer, but her class was great. The syllabus was very clear with the grading and course requirements and although there was a decent amount of work, it was pretty easy. The final is visiting a museum and writing a paper on it.

Easier class I have ever had! Homework is easy 'cause u just need to answer the questions til due date its 100%, there was 1 quiz. Exams were no time limit and twice u can take but not same questions, I've never tried the 2nd one though, I just look at the questions if they are same or not! 1 museum report that was easy! she gives 2nd chance 4 all!

Took the online class so cant say anything about her other than she emails a lot. She uses blackboard and it was very confusing because she has all the assignments up and also the make up assignments so if you have to dig through a lot of stuff and make sure youre doing everything you need to do. Requires a museum/gallery visit and an essay

Took this class online and I'm glad I did! SO easy! She is very clear and provides helpful reminders. Assignments, including the exams are simple and don't require much studying. There's one paper required at the end of the course that requires you visiting a local art museum, but it's straight forward..

ONLINE: She will not stop emailing you but yet when you email her back she is RUDE!! Does not explain anything at all. She accidentally doubled all assignments in Blackboard and McGraw which makes your grade look bad. She does not understand how to properly organize an online class. I SOOOO regret not dropping her and picking a different teacher.
