Those who use the cards will pay a lower price for gas than the one listed.

Customers who hold a Giant Eagle Advantage Card will now be able to use it to pay for gas at the chain's GetGo gas stations, where they'll also receive as much as 30 cents off per gallon of gas.

The company said the service would begin on Wednesday and should be available throughout the chain by Thursday, according to a report in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Customers can sign up for the AdvantagePay program to receive a discount off the listed price of fuel from 5 cents to 30 cents per gallon. The AdvantagePay program will be linked to the customer's checking account.

GetGo said the discounted AdvantagePay price will be listed at the top of the fuel price marquee, and while the discount can vary, it will always be less than the regular price of fuel. The company added that customers will still have the option to stack their savings and get a free tank faster by redeeming their perks.

According to GetGo's website, customers will have a $200 spending limit over a 48-hour period and a $750 weekly limit, with as many as seven transactions allowed per day. Customers will need a valid driver's license, checking account, working email address and an Advantage Card or Ricker's Reward Card to enroll.
