Then one morning I found my account had been blocked due to 'multiple answers from fraudulent accounts'. All my points were forfeited and my account was then deleted. They are just a mining exercise for personal information. Don't fall for it.

Don't waste your time with this company. Having completed many surveys, as I was nearing the cash-out threshold they blocked my account - supposedly due to providing "incorrect answers" (which is not true). I asked them to provide evidence of what I'd done wrong, but they refused. Now they're point-blank ignoring my emails asking for an update.
I completely understand the need to gather accurate data, but to arbitrarily close an account without any evidence to back up their decision is outrageous.

I had an issue of my own making…
I had an issue of my own making resulting in my account being blocked. I wrote to customer services explaining the situation and they reinstated my account within 24 hours.

One of the best or possibly the best
Been using onepoll for many years but never taken the trouble to review them. The main reason for this is because I usually review the positives and the negatives about survey sites. Onepoll doesn't really have any negatives.
Yes, you'll get screened out of some surveys but this happens swiftly after one or 2 question rather than at the end of a 20 minute survey like many others I could mention.
The surveys don't pay a small fortune but they're generally quite brief and as such pay fairly.
Also they are the only site I've ever known to increase the amount they pay for their surveys. When I first started using them it was generally 5p or 10p per survey, now it's usually 15p or 20p. They've also reduced their payout threshold to £20 from £25 and believe me that makes a difference.
Payout by BACS or Paypal. Can take a few weeks after claim to receive the payment and they clearly state this.
Nothing underhand here.

I made an error
I made a silly error in one of the quality control checks on a survey so my account was blocked. Rachel sorted it very quickly for me and my account was reinstated.

Payment issues resolved
I messed up the process (twice!) to claim the payment for surveys completed. However Rachel was really quick at returning my missing points and even found some I didn’t know I had lost! She gave clear instructions on how to complete the request and the money was paid out really quickly. I look forward to completing many more surveys in the future
