LinkIt!

What is LinkIt!?
LinkIt! is a data and assessment platform used by our school district to support teaching and learning. It helps educators better understand each student’s academic strengths and areas for growth so they can provide targeted instruction and support.

How Does LinkIt! Help Students?
  • Tracks Student Progress: Teachers can see how students are performing over time, from classroom assessments to benchmark tests.
  • Supports Personalized Learning: By identifying what each student knows and needs help with, teachers can tailor lessons and support.
  • Early Intervention: LinkIt! helps identify students who may need extra help early, so support can be provided before bigger struggles arise.
  • Informs Instruction: Teachers use LinkIt! to plan lessons that match students’ current learning levels and needs.

What Kinds of Assessments Are in LinkIt!?
  • Benchmark Assessments: Given a few times a year to measure overall progress and growth.
  • Formative/Classroom Assessments: Shorter, ongoing check-ins to see how well students understand specific topics or skills.
  • Intervention Tracking: When students receive extra help, LinkIt! helps monitor how effective that support is.

What Does This Mean for Parents?
  • You may hear your child talk about "LinkIt! tests" or see results shared at parent-teacher conferences.
  • These assessments are tools to help us better support your child – not high-stakes tests.
  • The data helps us tailor learning to give your child the best chance to succeed.
