Can't login with Google account #14
Comments
I believe this is related to the google sign on (and likely any SSO option) response being sent to a new instance rather than the "original" instance. This issue is reported in #12 |
Yeah, this was fixed with: https://github.com/flathub/us.zoom.Zoom/pull/28/files I think this issue can be closed. |
This happened to me and several of my friends in the last two days. What to do? |
I just created a fresh zoom account via my google account, and am not able to log into zoom using the zoom client. I get redirected to the google confirmation page, then zoom is relaunched but sits there saying "Connecting to Google..." I'm using version 2.8.252201.0616 which is supposed to contain a fix for this. Reopen? |
With a 3.5.something version, logging in via a google account works fine. |
I am having this issue with the linux client, version 3.5.37... it just opens a new browser window |
has there been a solution or fix to this? been experiencing the same issue with multiple account ive created over the last week |
Keep having this issue with both my personal and work accounts. Incredibly frustrating. |
Same here. I always get "400. That’s an error. The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know." from Google when I try to sign in from the app. Using Debian, and app version 5.0.398100.0427. Signing in on website works just fine. |
Still an issue in 5.1.418436.0628 |
I can not log in to my zoom.us account any more. I am a Pro subscriber. My account access is with my Google account which has worked for months, now, today the Google Auth is broken, not only from the client (Linux) but also natively on the website (zoom.us). |
Can't login with Google at zoom.us/signin - just redirects to same site with get params error=access_denied and some identifiers afterwords... |
This is happening to me as well, I see the error=access_denied parameter in the URL but I don't see any error messages in the UI. |
I have the same issue, when using Chrome but I can still login through Safari. Maybe that works for you too :) |
The same issue has occurred since last week with Chrome and Safari. At first, I could login with on my MacBook and mac pro but not worked with windows. Now, I can't login with any devices. |
Is anybody here? I wanted to report this issue to customer support, but it needs me to login... |
I am having this exact same issue. Worked fine for a year then broke a few days ago. |
fat client is wokring for me chrome to the website zoom.us isn't working for me |
Reproduced, again, with latest version: Open the thick client, click
I click
It works if I go to the zoom.us site to log in, but I cannot join a meeting from the links in my Calendar items. [EDIT] I recognize now that Flathub isn't Zoom! I commented the above because I was frustrated with the issue and found this thread to be the most relevant. I suspect Flathub can't actually do anything about this. We [en-us folks] should all probably file tickets with Zoom over here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362003 |
To anyone finding this issue: Try clearing cache or cookies But if you're like me and don't want to do that:
|
Can confirm this worked for me! Thanks |
Another idea to try: disable any ad blockers you might have. I have Privacy Badger and it was blocking something that Google needed in order to authenticate. |
@RicoTrevisan thank you -- same config here, and that resolved my issues. |
In case someone is wondering what to filter, as today I had to add to privacy badger: accounts.google.com |
Solved by reinstalling Zoom from tar file downloaded from official site. |
When I try to sign in with Google I'm getting an error as on attachment and then Zoom opens another browser and it does that indefinitely (as long as I'm pressing login button).
