The nail technician diploma course was so informative. Easy to learn. There were 5 questions to answer at the end of each module. And 30 questions at the end of the course. You can go back and answer the questions again if you get any wrong. You get for pass certificate straight away when you've completed the course. I'm now on my way to progressing in the nail tech industry. I would recommend this course.

I’m pleasantly surprised by my course from New Skills Academy. It is very comfortable studying with own schedule, and full information with a clear explanation, also useful video lectures.

I’m doing the adobe illustrator level 1 certificate and finding the standard of the training lacking. The trainer is obviously not confident and he changes his mind regularly what you need to do. There’s a lot of ums and ahs and Im not finding it useful. I want something that I would be able to remember. It’s a poorly designed course and hard to make notes from. Disappointed

I have just completed the Excel beginners course. Numbers and constructing formulas is not my strength so I found it quite challenging but the course is easy to follow at your own pace. A year ago I did the PowerPoint course and I was pleased to see it was still accessable so I can go back and refresh. Both courses are excellent value.

I have just completed the digital marketing course. Honestly it is not a course i wanted to do, as i know absolutly nothing about digital marketing, but was asked to do it by my manager as it would help in a future project we are doing. I have just passed it this morning, and although i cant say i will ever be an expert in digital marketing, the course was not as bad as i thought it would be. It has taught me enough to actually understand some of what we will be doing at work. This is the second course i have done through New Skills Academy, and both have been enjoyable, easy to understand and have helped me in gaining new skills in the work place! Onto the next one now:-))

I purchased refresher courses in English and Maths, as my certificates are quite old.vI initially wasn't looking forward to it. I'm not going to lie
The courses have turned out to be just right in length for someone with basic skills, and not too much technical jargon. They're online courses that you can complete at your own pace, with no classroom attendance required.
These courses are ideal for anyone who was distracted by disruptive students at school, and didn't get the grades that they had hoped for because of it.

Very disappointed with the content of this course. Computerised voice poorly reading what is written down on the page is not at all what I expected. I would not have spent £20 on this course if I had known this was the format but to claim this course is worth £100 is shocking.

The course is well laid out, with listening tutorials as well as written. You have self-check exercises at the end of each chapter, to check your knowledge and a 30-mins test at the end of the course. You gain an officially recognised Diploma certificate when completed. You have access to admin's help who replies quickly. You can learn any time you want and revisit the chapters for refreshment. You leave the course richer in new knowledge, more confident and ready to tackle the world.

Brilliant range of courses, and they don't expire so you can return to them even after a long time of not doing them! I love how there's no pressure, so you can do the modules as often (or not often) as you like. The wording is also easy to understand in the modules. I would definitely use these courses again!

This is a great way to learn new skills and keep your mind active. Online learning that you can take at your own pace, with support if necessary. And not just reading - video tutorials as well. Certification tests are non-pressured and can also be done at your own pace. If you like learning and trying new things, I would highly recommend.

I have been very impressed with the courses available and have managed to pass several admin courses which have helped me change my career. You can study at your own pace and achieve a certificate at the end of each course.

I’m highly impressed with New Skills Academy. I’ve studied at higher education institutes and the quality of the learning materials was similar. The website is clear, I like the colours they used and the set up. It is easy for me to find information, log in or print something. You are able to read the module information and play a voice that reads it to you. Because English isn't my first language, this is very much appreciated.
I started last year to do a floristry course, then diabetes and now psychology. I love it and can definitely recommend New Skills Academy to new students. Acceptable prices, easy acces and it gives me great confidence learning in my own time.
