It’s the First!
The first Anime appearance of the Unison Sign. It involves using the two first fingers of both opponents to link together, showing recognition of comraderie between each other.

The Plot Thickens…
B follows Naruto’s chakra mode like a beacon.

Nine-Tails taunts Naruto about his chances of defeating Madara and winning this war and conquering hatred.

Refusing to believe Nine-Tails, Naruto pledges to do something about Nine-Tails’ hatred as well.

Remember When (or not)
Naruto remembers pledging to Iruka that he will stop the war.

When Nine-Tails wonders if Naruto wants power, Naruto remembers when he absorbed Nine Tails’ hatred during the Pain Attack.

Naruto’s first knowledge of Sasuke’s hatred was a sparring drill in their childhood. Sasuke defeated him, but Naruto wanted to continue. Iruka broke them up and demanded they perform a Unison Sign. Naruto instead ran away.

Naruto remembers his fight with Sasuke at the Valley at the End, and the mental rapport confrontation after the Kage Summit.

Nine-Tails remembers Baby Naruto, his first confronation with Naruto (during the Chunin Exams), and his last confrontation (Naruto taking his chakra).

Love, Family, Friendship
B pledges to Eight-Tails to protect Naruto.

In the flashback, Kid Choji is reluctant about fighting Shikamaru in the sparring drill.

In the flashback, Kid Sakura learns Kid Ino’s association with Choji and Shikamaru.

In the flashback, while the other girls wish Sasuke well in the fight, Kid Hinata softly wishes Naruto good luck.

Naruto views Nine-Tails as another person to watch over him, like his parents.

But in the Manga…
The Anime adds further comment about Naruto not wasting his Nine-Tails chakra.

The Manga has Nine Tails having an emotional faceoff with Naruto at the beginning of their talk. The Anime has Nine-Tails act calmer, his head turned with an eye on him.

The Manga Nine-Tails comments Nagato as a possible future for Naruto if he continues this nonsense of ending war. The Anime makes no mention.

The Anime adds a scene of a Konoha Ninja, grief-stricken over a fallen comrade, repeatedly stabbing a White Zetsu.

In the flashback, Kid Naruto ponders if he will fight Shino, Kiba, or Sasuke.

In the flashback, Kid Naruto makes an entrance when Iruka mentions his name. The girls call their dislike.

The Anime repeats Kid Hinata’s cheer getting interrupted again.

The Manga has Ino cheer Sasuke’s success before the splash panel of Sasuke owning Naruto. The Anime has it happen after.

The Anime shows Kid Shikamaru astonished at Sasuke’s speed.

The Anime has Iruka demanding Sasuke make the Unison sign as well.

The Anime adds Naruto’s coda about bonding with Nine-Tails. He bumps fists with B.

Man, still milking the dissonance between Naruto and Nine Tails. Should be interesting to see if/when Naruto breaks through to it but wish they'd hurry up or do we have to wait another 200 episodes?
