Target works with numerous suppliers to discover innovative ways to meet the needs of the guest and positively impact the communities we serve. As a core component of living our inclusivity belief, Target aims to expand opportunities for diverse suppliers. We believe it is good business and encourage diverse suppliers to explore opportunities with Target.
Every business unit at Target has specific needs and requirements. The Supplier Diversity team aims to identify, connect and assist in the growth of qualified, certified diverse vendors who align to Target’s retail or non-retail strategies. These diverse enterprises must be at least 51% owned, controlled and operated by women, ethnic minorities, LGBT persons, veterans or persons with disabilities. Through this program, Target is able to assemble a wide range of talents, perspectives, and creativity. These collective attributes create enhanced places of work, vibrant communities, and an inclusive culture.
We know diverse suppliers help Target create a memorable shopping experience while offering incredible value for our guests both in store and online.
Our online supplier registration portal helps us quickly identify potential suppliers for specific procurement opportunities as they arise. Once registered, you will be automatically notified via e-mail upon successful completion of the registration process. Be thorough with your profile as an incomplete profile may hinder capability searches. We recommend you access the portal on a regular basis to update your profile. Note that a company will be contacted only if its capability profile matches a current procurement need.
Registering as a supplier does not automatically place your company on a "bidder's list", constitute approval of your firm as a Target supplier, or obligate Target to solicit a request for information or quotation. It does, however, allow us to better understand your firm's capabilities and experience.
