I got two one star ratings for no reason. I am no longer eligible to take any more tests. User Testing told me that I was outside of the country which wasn't true. I am based in the UK and did not travel anywhere.

I hd tried to contact the support multiple times and have never heard back. Do not recommend using this platform.

It is legit and when it works it's a good way to make extra cash but it takes a long time to find a test you're qualified to do and the support service is non existent! It took ages for them to review my practice test and then my first paid test. And then one customer left me a 1 star rating which was really unfair and since then I haven't been able to get any more test invites!

I found a test on Usertesting. I immediately qualified and I immediately completed the test. Only telling me over a month later that I took too long and completed the test after the date I was eligible for it. Then why was it on the website?
Of course, there’s no way to dispute it….wow

UserTesting does pay what it promises, however it can take a lot of time to get through all the "screener" tests before finally being eligible for the actual paid test. I am generally eligible for tests 1-3 times per week. If the site glitches and you are unable to complete the test or if the test does not upload to the customer correctly, they will not pay. It's a good source of a little extra cash if you have a lot of extra time on your hands.

I have not been able to get passed the verifying the PayPal part. I am suspicious at best because the look and feel of the Paypal they want you to link with is nowhere near what I use. Colors alone are off-putting, and then there is no way of locating an ID to enter into my more legit-looking PayPal app to make the verification this way. I don't trust giving my information over. I know PayPal has verified my account information because I have made transactions in the past. This "verification process" through User Testing should not be so difficult and should be more transparent. There are critical elements missing to make me trust them.

I've been using UT for several months now, along with other similar apps. UT is far and away the best one.
Yes, you have to complete quite a few screener surveys before being accepted to one, and you won't make millions. You also have to ensure you complete tests properly, as some of them will give you a star rating. But you can legitimately get to take part in a couple of surveys a week if you put the effort in and answer honestly.

User Testing is a great side hustle to have or do online or from the comfort of your home. This isn't something to replace your 9-5 job, but rather a way to earn SUPPLEMENTAL income, your earnings on UT all depend on the time, effort, your demographics, and feedback you provide on these tests. I've made over $400 this month of December on UT. I do other side hustles and gigs as a self-employed gig worker such as online surveys and UberEATS deliveries.

Usertesting is a great site for those who like to help companies become better, and more efficient, and make a little cash while doing so. I've always been a firm believer that companies should listen more closely to their target audience and this site enables them to do so.
Usertesting always pays on time, and while it is not much money per test, at the end of the month it can add up.

Usertesting.com has been one of the great side hustle I do for more than 2 years. an average of 200$ per year is good enough since I am not spending anything to join a panel review or UI website testing. My background is tech so I had experience reviewing UI of competitors of popular mobile app and crypto. Looking forward for more UI testing and interviews.

Great way to earn extra cash.
Easy to use, just keep the usertesting tab open when browsing the web and wait for the 'ding' when a new test is available.
Can take a while to find a qualifying test, but don't be disheartened as usertesting pays well compared to other survey sites.
So far I have made over $600.

Usertesting is by far the fairest company of its kind that I carry out tasks for. It is fair paying, very helpful and once you reach 4 stars or above you generally get around 5 tasks a week at least. On top of this, if a test doesn't work or is cancelled their end, you are often compensated. They genuinely seem to care about their workers and that is sensible as doing so encourages people to work well and provide useful feedback. I would definitely recommend signing up.

Tester highly satisfied!
I am a tester for Usertesting. It has been a great experience. I typically get 5-6 tests per week. I think i could get more if I monitored the available tests more often. If a test gets interrupted or there was a problem, Usertesting has always given me full or partial credit. Problems rarely happen though. Usertesting site is honest about time commitment and payment process. Customer service is helpful. I would and have recommended them to others wanted to make a little fun money.

I've been a tester for years, and I've always been happy with my experience. The system is easy to use overall, and the tests are usually quick enough that they don't take up huge amounts of your time. Payment is always on time, and it's always interesting to see a new product/site come out a few months later and know that you're one of the people who influenced its development

Looks like this review is full of fake 5 stars reviews of so enthusiastic people . The truth is far from those fake reviews. The company is not professional at all, will make you work, make take a test when they will record your screen then shut down your account for no reason.

I have nothing but love for this amazing company. Usertesting pays users like myself to share our personal and professional experiences with companies thereby allowing the latter to make more customer centric products.

I was able to make more than 500$ in a few months sharing my thoughts and giving as little as 5 minutes and as much as 1 hour of my time (if & when required).

Overall, it's a YES! Be it from an experience point of view or from payments point of view (which gets processed exactly 1 week after taking the test).

This company has been in decline for a couple years now and the UserZoom acquisition was the nail in the coffin. Support is nonexistent, the seamless recorder refuses to upload tests, and the team couldn't care less about the increased amount of irrationally long and demanding test flooding the platform now. It was nice while it lasted!

I have been with Usretesting since April and it works very well. I wish I would have more tests as a tester with them, but the ones that are available on the platform are working great. I would encourage businesses to use user testing as a platform because it just has the capacity and capability to provide the software needed and support. Unlikely many other platforms that have technical problems all the time and no support, this one works great. Very pleased with them. Thanks, userstesting!
