How to activate Paytm wallet: Step-by-step guide
Here is a step-by-step guide to activate your Paytm wallet.
Paytm is a digital payment platform that allows people to transfer money to anyone instantly using the Paytm wallet. Paytm is owned by One97 Communications. You can transfer money digitally instantly to anyone at zero cost using the Paytm Wallet.
You need to set up a Paytm account using your mobile phone number and email ID to transfer cash to the Paytm wallet. You can add up to Rs. 10,000 in a month in the Wallet. You can use the Paytm app or website to pay for online recharges, utility bill payments, book movie tickets, or travel tickets.
Here is how to activate the Paytm wallet via the web:
- First of all Visit Paytm.com.
- Now click on ‘Login/Sign Up’ on the top-right corner of the page.
- Then click on ‘Sign Up’.
- Now enter your mobile number, email address, and password.
- Click on 'Create your Paytm Wallet'.
- Now enter the OTP.
- Then enter your First Name, Last Name, and click on 'Create your Paytm Wallet'.
- Your account will be created.
Here is how to activate the Paytm wallet via the app:
- Open the Paytm app on your phone.
- Now tap on the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Then tap on ‘Create a New Account’.
- Enter your details such as mobile number, email address, and password.
- Now tap on 'Create a New Account'.
- You will get an OTP on the mobile number you entered.
- Once you enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit’, and enter your First Name, Last Name, and DOB.
- Tap on 'Create Account'.
- Your account will be created.
