RES is resourcing a year-long professional development program for RES staff through FranklinCovey’s training products.

All Access Pass

All RES staff will be doing the Speed of Trust workshop and will then have All Access passes for online modules and other FranklinCovey workshops throughout the year in areas such as time management, email management, convening collaborative meetings, project management, leadership, and many other topics.

Trust is the Foundation

  • Trust was identified as an area of focus keeping in line with RES’s commitment to sustaining a culture of organizational excellence.
  • Leading at the Speed of Trust is a well-constructed, valid and reliable framework for building a high trust culture.

Why FranklinCovey?

  • FranklinCovey is a global company specializing in performance improvement that requires a change in human behavior.
  • They have a solid and impressive record of accomplishment and provide a quality set of products “without reinventing the wheel” that can be facilitated in a way that makes them meaningful to our setting and work.

Deployment Strategy for RES

  • All RES staff will be required to take Speed of Trust during this one year All Access Pass time frame.
  • RES staff will work with their supervisor to build their own impact journeys to take advantage of other offerings that meet their individual needs.

Other FranklinCovey Workshops

In addition to Speed of Trust, Human Resources on the Boulder Campus is offering the following in-person workshops in 2018:

  • 7 Habits for Highly Effective People
  • 5 Choices of Extraordinary Productivity
  • Project Management Essentials: For the Unofficial Project Manager

All RES staff have the All Access Pass and are eligible to participate in these workshops provided through HR. RES covers the additional $30 materials fee for these workshops. Employees should discuss with their supervisors any interest in attending these workshops.

The HR website provides a complete schedule of upcoming workshops.

Speed of Trust Workshops

Leading at the Speed of Trust is designed to help participants increase their personal credibility and practice specific behaviors that increase trust. Leaders learn a new language and set of behaviors and apply them to real work to sustain high-trust behaviors after the work session. To ensure sustainability, they also receive a sustainment app and leader accountability plan.

The Speed of Trust workshop:

  • Creates a business case for a high-trust culture.
  • Teaches trust as a learnable skill.
  • Provides the mindset, skillset, and toolset that will measurably increase a participant’s ability to deliver results in a way that inspires trust.
  • Provides the essential tools for building and maintaining a high-trust culture after the work session is over.

Scheduled Speed of Trust Sessions

All RES staff who have not taken Speed of Trust should sign up for a session being offered through Boulder campus Human Resources. The current schedule and instructions for registering are available on the HR website
