To log in to Applicant Center, please refer to the email sent to you by "HireRight Customer Support" which includes a unique link and password for your account. If you are unable to find this email, please check your spam folder.

How do I check the status of my HireRight background check?

You can check the status of your background check through our automated system by calling 866.521. 6995, or by logging in to the Applicant Center (refer to original email or text for unique login link).

How long does it take for HireRight to complete background check?

Depending on nature and scope of the background check your potential employer has requested, an average employment background check will typically take between two and four business days to complete.

How far back does HireRight background check?

How far back do they go? This can get a little complicated. First, HireRight's customers can specify how far back they want the search to go, with seven years being the most common choice, but other options include 10 years as well as “unlimited” – which searches for all records that are reasonably available.
